According to what her cousin Angelica Knowles told sources, the diva is currently working on a new album, but it will be her last, New York Daily reported. Further, it seems that she will be spending her days scouting talent for her new hubby Jay-Z’s upcoming label, The Carter Music Group. Beyonce’s first protege is rumoured to be an R&B artist named Chelsea Thomas. None of her representatives could be reached for comments.

Beyonce is now off the target list of animal rights activists after she gave up wearing fur.

The singer has ben involved in a long-running dispute with PETA over her love of fur products but the group have now called off their campaign.

PETA called a truce with a letter and a gift of a faux fur rug which were sent to the singer, reports glamour.

After years of speculation, singer Beyoncé Knowles wed her longtime boyfriend, rapper Jay-Z, on Friday, a friend of the couple’s tells PEOPLE. Though there is no official confirmation, the friend says, “It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family.” The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper’s Tribeca apartment that drew Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

The wedding buzz began when the couple went to get a marriage license at a village hall in Scarsdale, N.Y., on Tuesday. DJ Cassidy, a favorite of Jay-Z, was hired to spin. “Cassidy mentioned a week ago that he was really excited for Jay Z and Beyoncé’s wedding party to happen,” says another source. Early Friday morning, workers erected a white tent atop the building in Tribeca, where Jay-Z owns a penthouse apartment. Not long after, an SUV carrying what seemed to be AV equipment arrived, followed by deliveries of party rentals and flowers. A source tells PEOPLE that Amy’s Orchids was hired to provide 50,000 to 60,000 white orchid blooms from Thailand for a “big party.” At the apartment, waiters were seen practicing their service.

A couple since 2002, Jay-Z, 38, and Knowles, 26, always kept quiet about their relationship, even as they were photographed together on romantic holidays around the world. Still, marriage seemed to be in the cards – eventually. “I never pictured myself as a bride,” she told Cosmopolitan in January 2006, “but after my sister’s wedding, I did start thinking about what kind of wedding I’d want. I don’t think I want a big one.”

Beyoncé Knowles and longtime beau Jay-Z have taken out a marriage license in Scarsdale, N.Y., PEOPLE has learned. According to a source, the pair obtained a license Tuesday morning. The document is valid for 60 days. A rep for Beyoncé told PEOPLE, “No comment.” Jay-Z’s spokesperson could not be reached.

Beyoncé, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, have been dating since 2002, though the couple have stood reluctant to discuss their relationship publicly. Rumors about their romance began circulating after the singer appeared on Jay-Z’s song “‘03 Bonnie & Clyde,” followed by collaborations on Beyoncé’s solo hit “Crazy in Love,” in 2003.

While the two have remained tight-lipped about the state of their romance, by no means has Beyoné brushed off talk of marriage. In December 2006, the singer told InStyle, “You can’t rush a man into anything – whether it’s a relationship, marriage or having children.”

Earlier that month the pair were besieged by rumors that they were all set to get hitched in the Caribbean – a rumor that was quickly scotched by their reps.

Two weeks after Barack Obama delivered his “Yes We Can” speech in Nashua, New Hampshire, the Black Eyed Peas’ Will.I.Am assembled an all-star cast of musicians and actors (including Common, John Legend and Scarlett Johansson) to appear on his “remix” of the speech and the accompanying video, an arty, black-and-white clip that quickly became a YouTube sensation, racking up more than 4 million views. Now, two weeks after Obama delivered another speech — this one from his hometown of Chicago, after a triumphant Super Tuesday in which he won 14 states — Will is at it again, booking time in a Los Angeles studio to record yet another pro-Obama tune.

So far comedians/actors George Lopez and John Leguizamo have recorded spoken parts for the track, and a publicist for the project told MTV News Jessica Alba, Ryan Phillippe, Ben McKenzie, Macy Gray and the Black Eyed Peas’ Tabu are slated to participate. Beyonce Knowles will be coached for her role as Etta James in a forthcoming movie about blues label Chess Records by the singing legend herself. James is thrilled Knowles has been picked to play her in ‘Cadillac Records’, and is excited about her own role - as a special adviser to the R&B star-turned-actress. The 70-year-old, who is most famous for her timeless classic ‘I Just Wanna Make Love To You’, wasn’t sure the 26-year-old was up to the task, until she watched her rock the Grammy Awards last week in a duet with Tina Turner.

She tells PageSix.com: “I have my own way of putting those songs over, and I was just wondering if Beyonce could, and my son said, ‘They’re thinking about how she looks, but mama, she can really sing!’ It’s a privilege and an honour to have somebody like that girl. I don’t think she looks like me, but that’s all right. They can fix that up. I kinda have a man’s voice. It’s a contralto, more bluesy, religious. I would really like to work with her on that.”

Former heroin addict James claims Beyonce has a tough task, taking on her rollercoaster life, adding, “Oh my god, she’s going to have a hill to climb, because Etta James ain’t been no (sic) angel! I can tell Beyonce some things; some of the things I might not tell her. I wasn’t as bourgie as she is, she’s bourgeois. She knows how to be a lady, she’s like a model. I wasn’t like that… I smoked in the bathroom in school, I was kinda arrogant, so those are some of the things I would want to tell her.

Knowles, who will also act as executive producer on ‘Cadillac Records’, will join Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright, Cedric The Entertainer and Tammy Blanchard in the project, which begins shooting next month.

The list, called “Cash Queens of Music,” also features big names like Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Shakira and Mariah Carey, and takes into account not only the cash these leading ladies are making through CD sales and tours, but also their varied side projects including clothing and perfume lines. A rumor spawned from Media FAKE Out regarding Beyonce and Ne-Yo. According to the rumor, Ne-Yo, who took a hand in writing Beyonce’s hit single “Irreplaceable” planned on suing Beyonce because of unpaid roylaties or whatever. Well, Ne-Yo has set the record straight stating that he is not suing Beyonce, and “the rumor is untrue.” He went on to say that there’s no beef between the two.

He’s still suing R. Kelly’s ol’ punk ass though … lol!

While it is unknown whether or not Beyonce will release an album this year, it has been confirmed that she’ll in fact be performing as an actress later on this year, in the movie “Cadillac Records.” Beyonce will take on the role as famed blues singer Etta James in the 1950s-inspired movie, and will be joined by Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright, and Cedric the Entertainer.

Singer Kelly Rowland couldn’t wait to finish touring with Destiny’s Child - because bandmates Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams were messy roommates. The 26-year-old was delighted to announce a solo tour in autumn last year - because she could finally keep the tour bus as organized as she pleased.

She says, “They were both slobs! They would come on to the tour bus and take their shoes off, and I was the one who would say, ‘Put your shoes in the corner!’ I have OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) tendencies, so I drove them totally nuts.”

The writers decided to let the Grammys go on without being picketed, and according to PEOPLE, Beyonce and Tina Turner are set to hit the stage together! As all of us fans know, Beyonce has always been a fan of the 68-year-old icon. I’m sure you all remember back in 2005 when she performed “Proud Mary” during the Kennedy Center Honors! Now, this is supposedly a “surprise performance,” so you know the people behind the Grammys are being tight-lipped about who’s presenting and who’s performing: “We haven’t released any presenters or performers, and until we do, nothing is confirmed.”

What’s the Deal: “There’s a lack of substance in music right now,” says R&B hitmaker Usher. But his fifth album has the cure: positive-message songs, like the pro-gentlemen “Chivalry,” and “Here I Stand,” about “the valor of a man.”

Why We’re Excited: Planned collaborators include Jay-Z, Ludacris, Beyoncé and T-Pain. “I am the consummate entertainer,” Usher says. “I’m going around the globe to work with the greatest.”

 Hip-hop sketch comedy group It’s the Real recently posted their latest take at the complex subculture of the rich and famous, If it was all so Bey-Z, using a comical cut-and-paste collage style animation (think Internet People by Meth Minute 39, but for hip-hop moguls).

The skit is narrated by a fictional celebrity wedding planner, Lauren, dishing on behind-the-scenes details for coordinating the elaborately comical seating arrangements at Jay Z and Beyonce’s wedding, which we all know went down, but has yet to be confirmed.

Possibly the best line of the skit:

“Freeway, Beenie and Memphis Bleek all wanted to sit at Kanye’s tables, as long as Kanye wasn’t sitting there, so that was weird.”

 They’re world travelers and rock stars, and Friday night Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles were spotted out in New York City last night for the first time in 2008.

Always looking their best, the 1st couple of hip-hop made their rounds in the Big Apple with Jay sporting a hooded jacket with a grey v-neck sweater and dark jeans, and the Bootylicious one wearing a leather jacket and some Capri-style pants.  With Beyonce’s international appeal, she may have garnered herself a spot in a new Bollywood film, according to producer Sajid Nadiadwala.  In fact, the film, ‘Kambakht Ishq,’ could have multiple American stars on its roster.

Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala has roped in none other than Hollywood stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Beyonce Knowles to star in his next magnum opus ‘Kambakth Ishq’.

An industry source revealed that Sajid is all set to roll his next magnum opus to be directed by newbie Sabir Khan in Los Angeles in May. Pre Production work is starting next week for which Sajid’s making a hush hush trip to Hollywood.

An international source said, “Sajid has managed a casting coup in Kambakth Ishq. Apparently Arnold Schwarzenegger has agreed to play an interesting cameo in the film. Pop Sensation Beyonce is also all set to act in the film. The film stars the super hit pair of Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor. Akshay plays a Hollywood stuntman in the film.”

Responding to queries about the film, Sajid said, “Yes, we shall be making a formal announcement very soon. I cannot reveal any further details. As our Indian film industry is making its presence felt and going global, I would like my banner Nadiadwala Grandsons to scale the global level in film making too.”

The Beyoncé Experience Live will be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and PCM 5.1 uncompressed 48kHz/24 bit audio.

A lone special feature, the Beyoncé Experience Live enhanced jukebox, is exclusive to Blu-ray. It will allow viewers to create their own track list, much like customized favorite scenes.

Singer Beyonce has won a long-running legal wrangle over claims her hit song Baby Boy infringed the copyright of another artist’s work.

The appeals court in Houston, Texas upheld a 2006 decision which dismissed musician Jennifer Armour’s claims that its lyrics were based on her work. Beyonce said in a statement: “I am hopeful this decision will allow all of us involved to finally move on.” The song’s co-writer, Jay-Z, was also mentioned in the legal action.

‘Unfortunate’

Beyonce added: “It’s unfortunate that we had to endure this long legal process.” Ms Armour claimed she had posted I Got A Little Bit Of Love For You to Beyonce’s manager and record company in early 2003.

But the court found Baby Boy was written before her song had been sent. The initial court hearing also found that “no reasonable person could conclude that the two songs sounded substantially similar to one another”.

However, the appeals court simply upheld the dismissal of the case on the grounds that Baby Boy was in existence before Ms Armour allegedly submitted her demo tape.

I still have the same amount of love and respect for Beyonce that I’ve always had, but updating FB has recently become a chore. I even put out a search to add some contributors, and when I e-mailed 4 of them to congratulate them on being a new addition to the site, I got no response.

I’m getting NO help, what-so-ever. And I can’t do it alone. I’ll be a college student come Fall 2008, and if I can’t find anyone to help me out with the site, I’m not sure what the fate of Forever Beyonce will be. I really DO NOT want to close it, because it was my first “domain” site, and I have a ton of love, loyalty, and respect for Beyonce and you guys (the fans/visitors), but I can’t do it alone…

But I have one more friend who reached out and asked if I needed any help over here. She’ll be helping out with gallery updates, and possibly some news headlines. Be on the look-out for her!

Beyonce Knowles and her sister Solange celebrated the launch of Jay-Z’s new 40/40 club last weekend. The former Destiny’s Child singer and her little sister were there to celebrate the launch of Bey’s boyfriend’s new venture.

An onlooker said: “Beyonce and Solange lit up the room. “It’s clear the good looks run in the family.”

Jay-Z, real name Shawn Corey Carter, arrived in style, wearing a fitted three-piece suit with cool shades to complete the look. According to British newspaper The Sun, the Las Vegas club may not be open in time for New Year’s Eve due to licensing issues, but Jay-Z pulled out all the stops and made sure this year gets off with a bang.

Other guests at the swanky party included R’n’B sensation Ne-Yo and Mary J. Blige.

Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z says his father’s death is the reason why he is a better boyfriend. It is reported that Shawn Corey Carter’s (his real name) father’s death in 2003 has helped him open up emotionally and taught him the importance of dealing with emotional issues.

“When I was young, the person I looked up to was my father, and once I experienced that hurt, the separation from the guy you thought was Superman, you never want to feel that hurt again. I’m sure she thinks I’m closed off. I’m working on it. Just trying to deal with emotional issues, taking them on proactively. Before, I wouldn’t even address it,” the 37-year-old rapper says.

Jay-Z is currently dating R&B artist Beyonce Knowles. Their relationship went public after his 2002’s single ‘03 Bonnie and Clyde where they collaborated. They were listed as a Power Couple on Time Magazine’s 2006 100 Most Influencial People.

Despite their busy schedules, celebrity power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles found time to have a quiet celebration together in Paris to mark Jay-Z’s 38th birthday. After joining Kanye West on stage for a surprise performance in England on December 2nd, Jay-Z headed to the Hotel Meurice in Paris where his longtime “bootylicious” girlfriend joined him for a quiet day of rest and relaxation.

Jay-Z has been known for staging elaborate birthday celebrations in the past but this year opted for a more private affair, spending most of the day in his hotel suite. According to sources, Knowles took time to hit the hotel’s luxury spa before the couple took a romantic limo ride around the city ending at the popular L’Avenue restaurant for dinner.

After a late dinner, Jay-Z and Beyonce headed over to the famed Crazy Horse cabaret where they sipped champagne and watched nude dancers run through the club’s latest show, “Forever Crazy.” Jay-Z and Beyonce have been linked together since their collaboration on Jay-Z’s 2002 song “03 Bonnie and Clyde,” but the two continue to try and keep their romantic relationship out of the public spotlight.

Nicole Scherzinger is featured on the cover of the December 07/January 08 issue of Rap-Up Magazine. When asked who she admired the most, she For named Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, Diana Ross and Michael Jackson as the singers she admires the most. Beyoncé usually works with her mom Tina Knowles on outfits for her red carpet and stage appearance and she told Cosmopolitan recently: “Usually, I call months before and tell [my mom], ‘I woke up from this dream. I was wearing gold and I was a robot.’ And she’s like, ‘Okay you’re crazy, but I’m going to make it happen.’ So she makes about 50 robot suits and we choose from those.”

But she’s not always been so interested in the fashion decision: “At one point, I was a tomboy and wouldn’t wear dresses.”

“And when I first became a teenager, I hated purses. My mom used to say, ‘You’re a young lady, you should have a purse.’ I refused. She had to beg me.”

Donda West’s body was taken to the church in a coffin via white hearse, and after the service was taken to a cemetery by two horse-drawn carriages. West was present at the service after flying in from two emotional dates on the European leg of his Glow In The Dark Tour. The star started crying onstage in Paris on Saturday (November 17) after attempting to dedicate a song to her.

During the 2007 American Music Awards last night in LA, Beyoncé was awarded the international artist award. This honor has only been given to very few artists that include Aerosmith, Led Zepplin, Michael Jackson and Rod Stewart. The award was presented by R&B singer, dancer, and actor Usher. Beyonce was teary eyed as she delivered her speech. She says, “I am so blessed to wake up every morning and do what I love to do.” Furthermore, she says, “I don’t take it for granted. I’m so grateful, I’m so honored and I’m so humbled by this award.”

Also, Beyoncé performed onstage with country band Sugarland with her top song “Irreplaceable.” The song was performed in a country/bluegrass arrangement which was the band’s publicist’s idea. Beyoncé expresses her thoughts on the collaboration. She says, “A good thing about a good song is it can be played in any genre.” She also adds, “I’m up for anything. I love it.”

R&B sensation Beyonce Knowles is reportedly set to ditch her R&B routes in favor of dance music.

According to reports, the former ‘Destiny’s Child’ singer approached up-and-coming dance act The Freemasons to work on a new song for her next album-  after her last album ‘B-Day’ didn’t do as well as expected. James Wiltshire, one half of the dance duo, said: “The album is going to be huge.

“It will rival anything the likes of Britney and Rihanna have done recently. Beyoncé’s team were said to have contacted The Freemasons after they heard the pair’s official remixes of the star’s hit songs ‘Déjà Vu’ and ‘Beautiful Liar’. James added to British newspaper The Daily Star: “Her management have been in almost daily contact with us ever since. “It is exciting getting to work on a new tune for her, as we get to be really creative.”
