Beyonce Knowles visited two fans in hospital who were injured by pyrotechnics at one of her shows. The concert goers were injured when fireworks onstage at a Missouri gig on Sunday evening (July 8) fell into the audience. They were immediately taken to hospital where they were treated for minor injuries. However, unknown to them, a very special 25-year-old star turned up. Head nurse Daryl Williams told the BBC: “She was just very concerned. It was unannounced and we kept it very low-key so that she could spend time with them.”

Beyonce said on her own website: “I visited the two fans who were injured in hospital right after the show and I am grateful that they will both be alright. My life and career have been blessed with the support of the best fans in the world. Their safety and well-being will always be a top priority and one of my biggest concerns.”

A lot of people are going around saying this was for publicity and so she wouldn’t get sued. I don’t think that’s the case. Beyonce was genuinely concert about those people. I mean really, who feels like sitting in a hospital for 45 minutes after completing a 2.5-hour show? People just don’t like to see people they don’t like doing good. People have this image as Beyonce being a bitch or whatever, and when she does nice things like this … they assume it’s for “publicity.” What do y’all think??
