If you don’t know what the Soula Boy is, it’s one of the latest down-south dance crazes coming from new hip-hop artist Soulja Boy. If you just do a quick search on “soulja boy” on youtube you’ll find a lot of videos of people doing it. Anyhow, Beyonce recently did this Friday night at her concert in Atlanta. Somebody finally uploaded the video on youtube!! Check it out above. Soulja Boy should be HELLA honored!

So what is R&B superstar Beyonce doing to prepare for her headlining concert Friday at Philips Arena? Apparently, she’s checking out some skin — and it’s not that of her backup dancers. According to V-103 personality Miss Sophia, who hosts the weekly exotic male review at Phase 1 nightclub on Memorial Drive, Beyonce showed up Thursday night to check out the show.
“She was very pleasant and seemed to enjoyed herself,” reported Miss Sophia. “She said she wanted to get away from all of the business of what she had to do [Friday night at Philips Arena], and hang out and just chill.”
Miss Sophia said Beyonce arrived about 1 a.m. with her assistant and two of his friends — one of whom knows the “Frank and Wanda Morning Show” personality — and two bodyguards. “When I introduced her I joked and said she was an impersonator. Then when she came on stage, people were like, ‘Uh uh, that’s the real Beyonce.’ And that’s when the phone started ringing and the club really started filling up … so she left about 1:45.”
Miss Sophia then went out to the singer’s van and talked some more. “She is as thin as ever. Kind of small in person. Really sweet personality. And was all smiles for the kids. Everybody enjoyed her.”

I know y’all were probably wondering what the hell was going on. I packed the site up and moved it to a new server last weekend, and said … “Hey, why not bring it back with a brand new layout?” So I did exactly that! For the past week, I’ve been working non-stop on this beautiful layout. Usually, it takes me no longer than 3 or 4 days to get a new layout together but this one was different. Most of you may not know what CSS is, but for those that do … I coded the layout ENTIRELY in CSS. There is not one table in the coding. What does that mean? Well, the more you browse around … the more you’ll notice! Because the site loads a lot faster now (tables tend to slow things down a bit).
There are lots of new things that you’ll notice too. I won’t mention them here, but I’m sure you’ll see them soon. I know the way I have it set up now is going to take some getting used to, but I’m sure you guys will adjust with no problem. Let me know what you think of the new look!! Oh, by the way … this layout is called “sweet sixteen” for many obvious reasons. Can y’all believe that we’ve been online long enough to have SIXTEEN LAYOUTS??
Singer Beyonce Knowles has promised to fly two injured fans to a future concert and treat them to VIP backstage treatment, after they were injured during a recent gig. Kind-hearted Knowles rushed to a St. Louis, Missouri hospital after her show in the city on Sunday (Jul 08 2007) to visit the fans, who were injured when a pyrotechnics display went awry and they were showered with fire. The 25-year-old singer made an unannounced visit at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where she spent 45 minutes with the injured pair - and now the singer has promised to fly each fan and a friend to a gig of their choosing, where they’ll be granted access backstage. Her manager-father Mathew Knowles says, “She’s going to make it up to them in a huge way and fly them and a guest to one of her shows - to be backstage.”
Yeah, being backstage would be their best bet! I’m not too sure if I’d ever want to sit front row at a concert ever again after being burned lol. But dang, VIP treament?! Let me get hit with a spark or two so I can spend some time with Beyonce … FOR FREE! What would you do if you were in this situation?
Nominees have been announced for the Teen Choice Awards, to be held Aug. 26th and broadcast live on Fox. Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson was nominated for favorite Movie Actress and Breakout Female, Beyonce and Jamie Foxx were nominated for favorite Movie Liplock, and “Stomp the Yard” star Chris Brown was tapped for Breakout Male. Other nominees include Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo, Bow Wow, Timbaland, Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, Katt Williams, Rihanna, T.I., Shop Boyz, Akon and Lloyd. Yes, the Golden Globes-nominated “Dreamgirls” star can list 10 Grammy Awards on her résumé and last month was named BET’s best female R&B artist. Her “Beautiful Liar” duet with Shakira is a huge hit, revitalizing her rereleased and expanded deluxe “B’Day” album, the 2006 follow-up to “Dangerously in Love.” “B’Day,” which opened at No. 1 on her birthday, has sold 3 million copies and is at No. 20 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It bears mentioning that she was on the cover of this year’s Sports Illustrated’s coveted swimsuit issue, and that with boyfriend Jay-Z, she is half of the biz’s true power couples. But what does the bootylicious one really dream about? A Houston-style day off.
“If it was a perfect day off, I would eat whatever I wanted. I’d wake up and have, you know, chicken and waffles and grits and cheese grits. And I’d see my nephew, and I’d relax and watch television, and you know, be in my sweats and my socks and just relax,” Beyoncé explained on “The Early Show” in April. She doesn’t get many of them. This weekend included. Beyoncé and her all-female band bring “The Beyoncé Experience” tour to AT&T Center on Sunday. “I know growing up I wished there was more female bands that I could kind of look up to,” she said in the same CBS interview about her latest outing. Expect a night of continuous hits, such as “Crazy in Love,” “Baby Boy,” “Dangerously in Love 2,” “Irreplaceable” and “Freakum Dress,” plus colorful costume changes and sexy dancers.
