robert, I read your posts like 3 times through and they still made absolutely no sense to me. These are the points I need to make:

1. The third single from Dangerously In Love was “Me, Myself, & I”. Anyone should know that, so was that supposed to be a difficult question or something?

2. Why are you so insistent on believing that Beyonce lip-synced the national anthem??? You could hear her breating into the microphone before every line and if she had pre-recorded it, then it would not have sounded that way. Just pay attention.

3. Just because she did not sing the entire song in Spanish doesn’t mean she lip-synced that performance either. In fact, it pretty much disproves the theory! She probably didn’t sing the entire song in Spanish because she is scheduled to perform “Irreplaceable” on her set list, NOT “Irreemplazable” and again I ask you, what difference does it make if she wasn’t lip-syncing the performance??? Just because you think she lip-synced it doesn’t mean she did.

B’Day went 3 times platinum in under 6 months. Duh she would have sold more if it weren’t for bootleggers, but the RIAA doesn’t include digital sales in its records, so she has perhaps sold 5 million (which wouldn’t surprise me, because I bought her album 3 times).

5. The entire last half of your 3rd comment was just a jumbled mess but I think what you were trying to say is that Beyonce won’t last because she works too much, but I guarantee you that if Beyonce never set foot in the studio again there would be critics crying at her front door for another album by the end of the year. Your first impression is the most important one, and I think her 4-times platinum debut album is a pretty decent first impression. Beyonce IS an icon already.

Guys, I’m really proud of Kelly’s new single b/c it’s hit #1 on a few charts, and is closing in on being a #1 R&B single!! The only problem I have is that she’s releasing “Ghetto” as her second single as far as I know. She REALLY doesn’t need to release that one (not to me, at least) because she’s gonna lose the broad fanbase she has now. I think she would do better to release “Love” or “Put It In (Work)” (which would be like the best summer song ever) or “Comeback” and just save “Ghetto.” I would rather she trade that one off the album and put “What It Do” back anyway because that was my jam…Oh, well. What do you guys think? (since there isn’t any newer Beyonce news yet).

All the singers must lipsynch at the superbowl because they cant take that risk in fact most performances are lipsynched. Only when they have people like Prince, Paul mccartney because those of the halftime specials but they never take risks with the national anthem because that opens the show. Although did u see billy joel perform it dis year with the piano? he didnt lipsynch but e should have cuz he SUCKED! lol

I just can’t even get it into my head that Beyonce would lip-sync the national anthem while she was standing still. I don’t get why people think she lip-synced at all…Yes, Beyonce can really sing that well!! Apparently Whitney did though, but wikipedia can be false sometimes, so I’m not entirely sure I believe that. B-Fein I watched that video and I can tell she wasn’t lip-syncing because she made that same face she always makes when she gets emotional at 2:38.

And ricardo, I could tell from the second it started that Beyonce was NOT lip-syncing. The only reason it sounded like that at 1:20 was because they edited the second verse out of that video and that’s where they put her back in. You can even tell with that last run she did at the very end that she wasn’t lip-syncing. I have been studying Beyonce for quite a while and I have only seen her lip-sync a song live twice: once, when she was doing “Yes” on the Wembley DVD (but she sang the ad libs at the end of the song anyway) and last year when she performed “Deja Vu” at the BET Awards. The only reason I know she lip-synced that one is because every performance after that was a half-step lower. That was the premiere of that song so she wanted people to hear it how it would really sound.
