The all-star lineup of today’s hottest stars from the worlds of film, television and music continues to shine brighter with the announcements that multi-platinum performer Beyonce Knowles will perform and George Lopez and Los Lobos will be honored on The 2007 ALMA Awards, to be telecast TUESDAY, JUNE 5 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
In addition to Beyonce, other musical performances include the previously announced Prince, as well as Calle 13, Dashboard Confessional, Billy Gibbons, Los Lonely Boys and War. Among the highlights of the 2007 awards ceremony, comedian George Lopez will receive the 2007 ALMA Award for Special Achievement in Television, and the Pioneer in Music Award will go to the band Los Lobos, whose musical repertoire includes traditional Spanish and Mexican music.
Tune into The Oprah Winfrey Show: What’s Cool For Summer, on Tuesday, May 29th (check local listings) to see a special appearance by Beyonce. Oprah will also talk with Robin Thicke who will be on tour with Beyonce this summer.

Youtube is full of tons and tons of different types of videos. Over the past few days searching for tour videos, I’ve come across tons of great Beyonce videos made by fans. And I figured .. hey, why not post them on FB for everyone to see and comment on! So that’s exactly what I’m doing. Every now and then, I’m going to come through here and let you guys see some the amazingly creative (and funny) videos Beyonce fans just like you create, edit, and upload to YouTube! Check out a fan’s version of “Upgrade U.” They did a really good job with this one!!
Some of you were e-mailing me asking where you can check out Beyonce’s recent performance at the Bravo Supershow in Germany. Well, here it is! You know? I think it’s amazing that Beyonce can do something like this while on tour - and it’s LIVE at that! No lip-synching here. This is why I love her so much. Anyhow, enjoy the video!
*While her legal team deals with a copyright lawsuit over her track “Still In Love (Kissing You),” Beyonce is moving forward with fresh new dates added to her North American tour in support of “B’Day” and its newly-released upgrade, “B’Day Deluxe Edition.”
The tour itinerary is still being finalized; however, dates were recently added in Nashville and Stateline, NV. See details below.
As previously reported, the U.S. leg will launch July 6 at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, LA. and travel through arenas across the country and Canada. Her world jaunt kicked off earlier this month in Europe and will remain overseas through mid-June.

Beyoncé’s getting all steamed up in the new issue of Vibe, on newsstands May 8 — but that’s just because she did her photo shoot in the shower.
No, she’s not naked — at least not physically. But emotionally? Sure, to an extent. While she still won’t talk about Jay-Z or Jennifer Hudson — except in what Vibe calls a “circular fashion” — the singer opened up about how and why she closes herself off.
“First of all, I don’t listen to the radio,” she told the magazine. “If I do, it would be in the car on my way to a venue — but not consciously. I don’t go on the Internet. … Unless I’m approving videos or approving song mixes, I don’t go. I don’t buy anything online. I’m scared. I don’t want to just give ‘em my credit card. I don’t wanna be hacked.”
