Personally I love the video. I would have liked to see some choreography in it though, but I think it’s great. Kelly is doing her thing, and when you really think about it, she has a better lead single than Beyonce. Go head, Kelly.

Jesus, I haven’t been able to get on this site all day… what’s the deal!? I really don’t like this video. First of all the song is week, she never has the hooks that Beyonce offers. And who puts things like “live web cams” in their videos? That’s dumb, what is she commenting on with that? That’s why Deja Vu was so hot, because it was old school and most of it took place in nature. I don’t even like Eve’s part in this song or vid. Sorry if I’m being blunt, but this song is so repetitive, and she’s not making me bump.

Aight, aight, don’t get me wrong, I love Kelly, and I know how good of a singer and performer she is. I loved her in the Live in Atlanta DVD. My thing is, there is a way to make a song work. Maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t necessarily like this song (maybe remixes will work for me), but I was ready for a visual image to make me understand it. It just seemed very Amerie. And I don’t mean to compare, but Beyonce is my favorite artist of all time so I’m going to use her, Ring the Alarm was so much better with the video, as was Irreplaceable (I didn’t like it the first time I heard it til I saw it). Also, the snippet I saw of Freakum Dress made it like my #2 favorite song on the album. And we all know her budgets weren’t crazzzy for these videos, but they look amazing. That’s all I’m saying, I wish I had someone else to compare so I wouldn’t have to put up two DC girls against eachother. Sorry. At least this isn’t a kelly rowland fansite. But yeah, I apologize.

Shantese you’re right. Beyonce and Kelly make two different styles of R&B music anyway. They cater to their own voices. Beyonce’s music is more funky and soulful, like her voice, while Kelly’s is more polished and clear, like her voice. It’s kinda pointless to compare them (although I think I just did on accident) because it’s like comparing Joss Stone and Trina.

ENVY i know u love u some beyonce but please don’t say stuff like tht….like honestly i can say that Beyonce was copying off of J.Lo in her I’m Glad Video or Madonna like she did with all them damn chairs in her videos (and she did em great, so don’t say Beyonce made it hot)…or every other female RnB artist out (ok, a little exaggeration)….the comparing has to stop…now it’s really getting annoying…and now it’s starting to make no sense whatsoever. Like i said, a kelly fan could really learn to hate beyonce fans sometimes, and in turn hate beyonce (yea it sounds ignorant, but it’s called association…when you see hate coming from that artist’s fans, ur brain ends up associating the hate with that whole thing, including the artist). so let’s give it a break. They are both doing big things, they both came from the same group featuring the hottest chicks in the game, now they have different goals and maybe a few alikes (but if we wanted to break it down, beyonce had a pink backdrop, kelly had black. kelly had no dancers, beyonce had four or five, beyonce’s vid was off of a soundtrack and featured a male rap artist, kelly’s is off of a sophomore album and features a female rap artist…the rest of kelly’s video took place in a house, beyonce’s had a green scene in-studio setting, kelly’s wasn’t so much choreographed than it was just having fun with maybe, MAYBE 8 or so bars of choreography, beyonce’s vid WAS in fact a dance video, kelly’s song is talking to ladies and getting hype about your own damn self and having fun not thinking too much about men, but if she had fun with one then HEY!, beyonce’s is specifically talking to one man, she wants to get next to, but he gotta act right first.) the only similarities are in fact the chair, the feature of a rap artist and they were both first singles (like this - ms kelly, check on it - pink panther soundtrack)…that is it.

im kind of mad about all of the videos being leaked, it took away the emliment of suprise for me…i wanted to see all of the videos when i bought and came home and watched it on my big screen.

THEN DEJA VU CAME OUT ON JULY 13TH, OR 12TH AND THEN ALL THE SONGS STARTED LEAKING….AND SHE COULND’T PUSH THE DATES CUZ OF THE THEME OF THE ALBUM. SO I HAD THE ALBUM ( I WON’T LIE) ON MY ITUNES BEFORE I WENT TO BUY IT OUT IN THE CITY THE DAY I WENT TO 106. I HAD TWO COPIES AND THATS WHY. BUT THEN I BOUGHT TWO MORE CUZ OF MY GUILT. THIS TIME AROUND IM NOT DOING THAT…ILL WAIT. I’D REALLY RATHER JUST WAIT, SURPRISE AND ALL LIKE SAUSHE SAID, AND PLUS RRJ SAID SOMETHING ABOUT A SURPRISE LIKE SOME REALLY COOL STUFF AT THE END OF THE VIDEO FOR ONE OF THEM, SO I DON’T WANNA WATCH THAT ON THE COMPUTER I WANNA SEE IT ON MY BIG SCREEN OR UPCLOSE IN MYROOM NOT ON THE VERGE OFA HEADACHE FOR TYING TO SEE ON MY DAMN COMPUTER SCREEN WITH THE VIDEO SKIPPING EVERYTIME MY COMPUTER ACTS UP.

hell yeah. i actually didnty get any songs from b’day before it came out. i guesss i got lucky. i heard all the new songs the day of. so i’ve watched suga mama and freakum dress(which premieres today anyways) and i watched the begonning of gmb, but the not the ending. i watched a little of green light, but turned it off because it continued to skip. i watched the 1 minute thing ogf kitty kat, whoch so far i do not like, it just isnt that crative to me, but i have to watch the rest. but i hope still in love and flaws and all does not leak. i want something to be new

I was so glad for the songs Melissa ave me, then I saw the Freakum Dress video & then I found out the other ones had leaked to so I had to see Green Light, cuz I’ve always wanted a video for that song. SO THEN HE SAYS “THAT’S FUCKED UP BEE, HOW YOU GOING TO PERFORM WITH HER, AND YOU DID NOT WANT TO DO UPGRADE YOU WITH ME?!!” SO BEYONCE HAD THIS SCARED LOOK ON HER FACE AND SHE YANKED HER ARM AWAY FROM JAY AND RAN. THEN IT WAS ALL IN THE TABLOIDS AND NEWSPAPERS THE NEXT DAY.

melissa you are crazy girl, that is a weird as dream. but only freakum dress premiered today on 106 and suga mama was the best video that i watched so far, i really liked it. i knew it was going to be my fav video. but why are she putting them out? i know that only four of the videos are being shown on the bet special she is doing. so i think thats why all of ae being leaked, like thats why we haven’t seen FLAWS & ALL and STILL IN LOVE, theres also a rumor out that hollywood is a new video too, i hope, that would be hot mellow video.

I just had to come back & comment one more thing…From what Isaw, I love all of her videos, I really do…BUT even just from wht I’ve seen from clips, I miss a story line or something. For instance BL, I thught it was gonna have a guy..It’ couldn’t be any hotter tho, I think it’s perfect like it is now, but I miss the story lines & where is the GREEN LIGHT in green light, I woulda liked to see more green light, the song aint called white light, but that’s all I’m seeing so I hope resentment & flaws & all & songs like that would be a bit different, I feel everything is much more about glam now - generally in videos…
