Beyonce Tops Hot 100 Singles Chart for Sixth Week
Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable” continues its run atop the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, where it maintains the top spot for a sixth consecutive week. The track also tops the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart for a seventh straight week, and returns to the No. 1 position on the Pop 100 for a fourth, non-consecutive week. The track is also the week’s greatest airplay gainer on the Hot 100.
Akon’s “I Wanna Love You” (featuring Snoop Dogg) rises from No. 4 to No. 2. Fergie’s “Fergalicious” drops from No. 2 to No. 3, and Akon’s “Smack That” (featuring Eminem) drops from No. 3 to No. 4. Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right” rounds out the top five after rising from the No. 10 spot.
Three new tracks debuted on the chart this week, led by Three Six Mafia’s “Doe Boy Fresh” (featuring Chamillionaire) entered the chart at No. 85. Gym Class Heroes’ “Cupid’s Chokehold” (featuring Patrick Stump) debuted at No. 87 and Christina Aguilera’s “Candyman” entered at No. 99.
