In preparation for the upcoming year, Beyonce has collaborated with Latin Grammy winner Shakira to release a slew of new songs and also plans on re-releasing her sophomore CD B’Day.

The re-release of B’Day will include several new songs such as the single “Beautiful Liar,” a “Spanglish” duet with Shakira, and hits stores sometime in early ‘07 according to label sources. B also revealed in an interview with Spanish language television network Univision, that she has already recorded several tracks with Shakira. There is no word on when these songs will be released. Rumor has it that B will also be recording an all Spanish CD next year. A Spanish language version of Beyonce’s current hit single “Irreplaceable” recently leaked onto the internet.

In related news Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson both received Golden Globe nominations yesterday (December 14) for their roles in Dreamgirls. Beyonce will contend for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical, while Hudson is competing for Best Supporting Actress. Eddie Murphy was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor and the film was nominated for Best Comedy/Musical. Dreamgirls will be released in theaters nationwide on Christmas Day. The 64th annual Golden Globe awards ceremony will air on January 15, 2007.
