Introduction / Deja Vu #1
I wanted to start off by introducing myself. Dustin has been REALLY busy lately so I offered to help, which he kindly accepted. I’m VERY happy to be a part of ForeverBeyonce and hope I can do half as good of a job as Dustin has. Anyway, to the news.
R&B singer Beyonce has scored her second British number one with “Deja Vu” after the single climbed 20 places to clinch the top spot, the Official UK Charts Company said on Sunday. The track, featuring New York rapper Jay-Z, is the Houston-born singer’s biggest UK hit since “Crazy In Love” topped the charts in 2003.
Colombian singer Shakira slipped to second place with “Hips Don’t Lie” featuring Haitian-American rapper Wyclef Jean. Texan hip-hop artist Chamillionaire’s “Ridin’”, featuring Ohio-born rapper Krayzie Bone also slid one place to number three. Northern Ireland’s Snow Patrol jumped five places to number seven with “Chasing Cars”. The single is the second track released from the indie band’s “Eyes Open” which moved back to the top of the album charts. Also among the album best-sellers was American singer Christina Aguilera, who slipped to second place with her third studio collection “Back To Basics”. Singer-songwriter James Morrison’s debut album “Undiscovered” dropped one place to number three.
