Proving she’s back on track with a new album was Beyonce’s main aim at her exclusive British playback this week - but she couldn’t resist sharing a few intimate secrets. The sexy star revealed how she keeps a special dress in her wardrobe so she can show lover Jay-Z why he fell for her. The superstar rapper masterminded her Crazy In Love single taken from the multimillion-selling Dangerously In Love album. Dressed in a figure-hugging jersey-knit dress, Beyonce unveiled tracks from her follow-up album B’Day. “Sometimes a woman feels like she needs to remind her man why they are in love with her or fancied her in the first place. All women have that freakum dress at the back of their wardrobe and they can just put it on and it will remind them,” she said.

The single De Ja Vu features Jay-Z and the Neptunes’ sound is easily spotted on the song Green Light. Irreplaceable, says Beyonce, is about looking for another human being and thinking you can’t find one: “It’s very powerful for a woman and this is about feelings that can make you feel better.” But far and away the hardest-hitting track she played was Ring the Alarm. Beyonce said: “It celebrates a woman’s strength.” Beyonce also treated the small audience to a first hearing of Suga Mama - and she’s hoping to put all the tracks into her live show next year.

The album track list is: 1. Dejavu. 2. Get Me Bodied. 3. Sugar Mama. 4. Upgrade You featuring Jay-Z. 5. Ring the Alarm. 6. Kitty Kat. 7. Freakum Dress. 8. Green Light. 9. Irreplaceable. 10. Resentment. The three bonus hidden tracks are Listen, Get Me Bodies and Encore for the Fans.
