That’s what happened to Beyonce’ Knowles with the song “Check On It.” She says she got a track that she hated so she started goofing on it. Before she knew it, it was the number one song in the U-S. “Check On It” is the single from the soundtrack to “The Pink Panther,” and Knowles says since it’s a silly movie, the silly song goes with it. Being silly seems to be her ticket to success, because she wrote “Bootylicious” that way too. Knowles stars in “The Pink Panther,” which opens this weekend.
