Destiny’s Child main lady, Beyonce Knowles has denied claims that she was pushed into the music industry; saying she was driven to succeed by her love of music. The singer is managed by her father Matthew Knowles, who until recently also had a high profile position at Sanctuary Urban Records. However, Beyonce has hit back at claims that paint her father as pushy and self serving. She said: “I never felt that I was being dragged into the business. I always loved music and never felt pushed beyond my own ambitions to succeed. “I never had to sing or earn money for my family because we lived very well. We had a nice house, nice cars. I only sang because I loved it.”
