Beyonce to Appear on Maurice Gibb Tribute Album

Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees is organizing a multimedia tribute to his late brother, Maurice Gibb. A Maurice Gibb tribute album is in the works, and it will feature performances by Paul McCartney, Snoop Dogg, Sheryl Crow, Black Eyed Peas, Wyclef Jean, Beyonce Knowles, Leann Rimes and Eric Clapton. Babyface will produce it. A “making of the album” television special is being shot, and Robin Gibb is hoping to get some of the same performers together for a charity tribute concert. The album is set for a June 2006 release.
