Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z has hinted Destiny’s Child will carry on performing and recording together, despite the Independent Women recently announcing they are set to disband later this month (September 2005). The Texan beauties originally insisted their last show would be on Saturday, September 10, 2005, in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada) - but they have since entered into negotiations to subsequently perform at a fundraising concert for victims of Hurricane Katrina. However, Beyonce’s boyfriend Jay-Z has suggested the split announcement is a facade and the girls will make a comeback in 2007. He tells British newspaper The Sun, “I’m going to their last show, but it won’t really be their last one. They will be back in 18 months.”
