Beyonce Knowles’ father is planning to tour the UK to find singers to be part of the new Destiny’s Child. Mathew Knowles, who manages his daughter and her bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, is currently in talks with a number of TV stations, including MTV, to create a talent show with the aim to create an all-girl R’n'B group. Following a ‘Pop Idol’ style format, thousands of hopefuls will audition for the show before the finalists are narrowed down to 20 who will then be flown out to the US to live in a “music boot camp.” A source revealed: “They will be whittled down to about 20 young ladies who will then attend Mathew’s boot camp in Beyonce’s hometown in Texas.” It is believed Mathew, 53, wants to sign up Beyonce’s boyfriend Jay-Z to be a judge on the programme, and is confident he can create a group to rival Destiny’s Child.
