Beyonce Knowles’ manager and father Mathew Knowles will join Usher and producer Jermaine Dupri as speakers at this year’s 2005 Billboard Hip-Hop Conference. The event, which incorporates the Billboard R&B Hip-Hop Awards, will take place in Atlanta, Georgia in August. Dupri, the new president of Virgin Records’ Urban Music Division, says, “The Billboard Conference is one of the most necessary conferences for music executives, artists and anyone who is in any way related to the music business.”

Well, I’m back from my week-long vacation in Florida, and it feels great to be back home at my computer updating! It’s been weeks since our little bandwidth mishap, but I’m over it now and I forgive whoever it was that did this to us. It’s good that nothing huge has happened this week, cause that means that I don’t have too much catching up to do and I can get straight to working on the new layout!! And as soon as April 1 hits, I’ll give you guys a chance to download the Girl video that premiered a couple weeks ago on TRL. Check back soon for some major updates :D

Unfortunately, the coding for the temporary layout is all messed up and taking me longer than expected. So I just decided to upload the old layout until I can fix it. You can thank me later :P I’m currently vacationing in Florida right now, but I’ll be back on March 26 to finish coding the temporary layout and resuming regular updates. It’s been almost a year since Usher made a special surprise appearance on Beyonce’s Verizon Ladies First Tour. This time, Beyonce returned the favor and appeared on Usher’s Showtime Special: One Night One Star. She danced to the beat of his song, Bad Girl and added glamour to the show all at the same time. But Beyonce wasn’t the only surprise guest at the show. Jermaine Dupri, Fat Joe, Daddy Yankee, and Ludacris all shared the spotlight alongside Mr. Entertainment as millions of people across the nation watched Showtime’s Free Preview Weekend. Sexy actress Jessica Alba has revealed watching a scantily-clad Beyonce on TV helped her feel comfortable playing a stripper in new film Sin City. The 23-year-old Latino lovely flashes her curves in the movie adaptation of the cult comic, which also stars Bruce Willis, and she admits she found the prospect very daunting - until she watched gorgeous Beyonce in her music video. She said: “I get self-conscious, but you have to just embrace it and go with it.

“I was so nervous during Sin City because I play a stripper. I wore chaps and little underwear. My butt cheeks were hanging out! It was so embarrassing. “I remember being in my underwear in my hotel room, trying to get comfortable with my Sin City role. “Beyonce’s Baby Boy video kept coming on MTV, and all she had on was a short little thing, and she’s grooving around and she has this gorgeous womanly body.

“I was like, ‘All right, if she can do it, I can do it’. I’m by no means a Gwyneth Paltrow or Jennifer Aniston - I’m not one of those women with a really thin body. I have body fat. “I am practically naked in every movie I do. It’s horrible. But I always get inspired by other actresses who embrace their curves.”

Andre just told me that he heard on the radio that Beyonce will be featured on Usher’s Showtime concert in Puerto Rico this Saturday. Don’t worry if you don’t have Showtime, because if you live in US, Showtime will be having a free preview weekend .. meaning that Showtime is 100% free the entire weekend. Beyonce was the house hold name that graced almost every musical performance at this year’s Academy Awards. If you’re a regular visitor to this site, you might have noticed that it was down for half of yesterday, and almost all of today. I apologize for that.
