Kate Bosworth has beaten Beyonc Knowles to land the part of Lois Lane in the new ‘Superman’ movie. The stunning actress, who is romancing ‘Lord of the Rings’ star Orlando Bloom, won the coveted role to play the Man of Steel’s love interest in new film ‘Superman Returns’. She will join newcomer Brandon Routh, who will play Superman, in the movie, which is believed to feature the action hero returning to Earth to do battle with evil. Kevin Spacey, who starred with Kate, 21, in ‘Beyond The Sea’, is set to take the role of Superman’s arch enemy Lex Luthor. Kate’s boyfriend Orlando is said to be thrilled his lover has won the as he is a huge fan.
