Dangerously In Love Hits 4x Platinum!
As her public reunion with Destiny’s Child nears, Beyonc is celebrating her debut solo album’s quadruple platinum certification last month by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The music industry trade organization accounted for shipments of 4 million copies of Dangerously in Love (Columbia) to U.S. retailers since its June 2003 release. Dangerously In Love debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and spawned a series of hit singles. Baby Boy featuring Sean Paul reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, as did Crazy in Love featuring Jay-Z. Naughty Girl made it to No. 3, while Me Myself and I topped out at number 4.
