Beyonc tore a leg muscle rehearsing dance moves with Destiny’s Child and her injury could delay some of the group’s plan, a record company spokeswoman said Wednesday. The singer tore her right hamstring, one of the muscles at the back of the knee, while practicing Tuesday in Los Angeles for an upcoming TV special. “She overdid it,” said Columbia Records spokeswoman Yvette Noel-Schure. “We’re all keeping our fingers crossed that, because she’s young and healthy, it heals fast. There are a lot of things in place that we may have to shift. Not the album, which is finished, but side (appearances). We’ll know more after a week,” Noel-Schure said. The new album from the trio, which also includes Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, is titled “Destiny Fulfilled” and set for release Nov. 16.

Following the Texas Music Project’s successful first CD, 19 new artists are contributing songs to Volume Two of “Don’t Mess With Texas Music(TM).” Beyonce, Clint Black, Eric Clapton, George Strait, Pat Green, Bobby “Blue” Bland and Bonnie Raitt are just a few of the all-star artists on the compilation CD dedicated to raising awareness and funding for music education in Texas schools. The Texas Music Project (TMP) is an initiative of the Social Marketing Resource Center, a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization. Volume Two is the latest in the series of CDs in which Texas music legends and deserving artists are brought together by TMP to support music education throughout the state. Proceeds from sales of the CD benefit Texas’ schools via TMP grants for music education distributed through the Texas Commission of the Arts.

But, I recently found out that I have to be somewhere at 9 AM tomorrow morning =( So that means that I need to go to sleep right about … now! lol So I won’t be able to make all of the updates at once. I recently found this photo of the Destiny Fulfilled album cover. In my opinion, it’s okay… It could really be better lol. Honestly, I like the photo over at walmart.com better:-/ And I love the photo to the right of this post even better!! Name: Destiny’s Child on ‘Pepsi Play for a Billion’
The wait is finally over: Lose My Breath, the first single from Destiny’s Child’s upcoming album, Destiny Fulfilled, has been unveiled, reports Billboard Online. The album, due Nov. 16, will utilize CD/DVD flip-side technology, with audio tracks on one side and a visual element on the other. Destiny’s Child broke a long performance hiatus Thursday night on ABC’s National Football League Opening Kickoff special and will perform Sunday on the network’s Play for a Billion game show. A two-hour ABC special and a 2005 world tour are also in the cards. In related news, group member Beyonc has unveiled her new clothing line in tandem with her mother, Tina Knowles, dubbed ”The House of Dereon.” The line is named for Beyonc’s grandmother Agnes Dereon and will be in stores by fall 2005. 
Beyonce Knowles reunited with her girl group Destiny’s Child on the red carpet, that is as she helped launch New York’s Fashion Rocks concert, designed to celebrate the fusion of fashion and music. Billed as an “extraordinary evening of style and sound”, the Radio City Music Hall event featured performances by Beyonce, as well as Andre 3000 of Outkast, Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, the Black Eyed Peas and Rod Stewart, reported China Radio International. Beyonce put on one of her sexy, spectacular shows, displaying her “bootylicious” figure in bronze hotpants and heels. She was decidedly more demure in a 1940s look as she arrived at the venue accompanied by her Destiny’s Child co-stars, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, who highlighted their individual style in a tangerine gown and aubergine satin trousersuit, respectively. Stars from the world of pop, sport and style donned their finest fashion for the star-studded concert, which will be supplemented with a month-long exhibition at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland. Tennis star Venus Williams, actress Denise Richards and rock offspring-turned-designers Jade Jagger and Stella McCartney were all among the glamorous guests.
