Hip-hop supremo Jay-Z is so besotted with his singer girlfriend Beyonce Knowles he has bought her two lavish homes in America and England. The generous 34-year-old has splashed out more than $9 million on a luxurious penthouse in South Beach, Miami, Florida and a stunning apartment in the Naughty Girl singer’s favourite London spot Chelsea.

A close insider reveals, “He really wanted somewhere safe for him and Beyonce to stay when they hit London or the beach. Even though they are happy to stay in top hotels, they both spend so much time travelling, he thinks they’d benefit long-term from having their own bases.

“Beyonce seems to be spending more time in Britain and Jay knows she particularly loves Chelsea. He’s an amazing guy who looks out for his family and friends. And boy, will there be some wild parties held in the new places.”

Knowles already owns several properties in New York and shares a plush flat with her cousin and personal assistant Angie in Miami, but her boyfriend insists the time has come for bigger things.
