Well folks, it’s a wrap for the 2004 BET Awards. If you watched the three hour long program, you caught all the magic and fun as BET celebrated another banner year of music and entertainment. Kanye West opened the show with an unbelievable performance of “Jesus Walks” that included a 32 member choir, drummers, dancers and a stage full of candles. Another highlight of Kanye’s performance was the striking entrance of Yolanda Adams who took the audience to church with a powerful melody that shook the theater. Kanye’s dancers kept it old school with Public Enemy S1W’s steps.When “the College Dropout” finished, he deservedly received a standing ovation from the packed Kodak Theater.Advertisement.

Destiny’s Child announced Thursday that they will return to the spotlight with a special performance for the Pepsi ‘Play for a Billion’ TV game show on ABC this fall. In one of their first performances in nearly two years, Destiny’s Child will sing new songs from their upcoming sixth album in front of a live audience in Los Angeles this September. One song from that performance will air exclusively on the Pepsi ‘Play for a Billion’ show on September 12. In addition to the show appearance, Destiny’s Child is currently featured on point-of-purchase materials for the ‘Play for a Billion’ sweepstakes in stores across the country. “We are really looking forward to getting back on stage and performing together as a group,” said Beyonce Knowles. “The Pepsi ‘Play for a Billion’ show is a great place to share our new music with the millions of viewers who will tune-in to see if someone wins that billion dollar prize.”

After London, Beyonce launched her new fragrance “True Star” in the U.S. New York City to be exact. We have 147 normal quality photos in the gallery, but could only manage to grab 11 HQs. Beginning in October, the True Star collection will be available at select retail locations globally. To support the launch, an extensive television campaign produced by Laurent Chanez will feature Beyonce singing an exclusive rendition of “Wishing on a Star” a capella. Famed photographer, Mario Testino, shot the national print campaign showing Beyonce in a way she’s never been seen before.

Finally, ForeverBeyonce.com has a new look. I know I said Wednesday, and it is now Saturday. But lots and lots of errors came up during the process of making this layout. I’m sorry for the long wait. Next time, I’ll pick a more reasonable date for a layout ;-) Anyway, I love the new layout, and lots of other people I showed it to love it as well. And hopefully you will love it just as much, if not, then more. Please tell me what you think about it.

01. Not all pages will work. But, by Monday afternoon, just about every page should be 100% functional.

02. BeyoncePhotos.net will have a layout change as well; sometime either this or next week.

03. BeyonceMedia.net — We have a new media domain which hosts all of our songs/videos.

04. All videos will be back on in a matter of a week. As soon as I purchase a capper, you will be graced with lots and lots of videos.

05. My site including beyoncemedia.net, beyoncephotos.net, and the forum have been under a huge moving process all week. That’s why you couldn’t access either temporarily. But they are all fully moved, and we’re at our brand new server. Everything should be fully functional by the morning. Thanks for your patience.

Hey, good news. ForeverBeyonce.com is going under a major, but well-needed makeover. Over the past month, I’ve been remaking the site. Phase I is scheduled to be put in this week. That’s right, a new layout for ForeverBeyonce.com is under construction and should be completed by Wednesday of this week. So, look long and hard at the current layout, because it is going in the “Past Layouts” section along with the other past layouts of ForeverBeyonce.com. The Mirror spoke with Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles about the new Destiny’s Child album that is due out in November. Talking about the reunion, Tina said: “They spent the first day talking, but then they focused on recording.”

Destiny’s Child was on TRL the other day, and officially announced that the album is coming this November. I can’t wait!!

Since Beyonce didn’t attend the 2004 MTV Movie Awards, I decided to add last year’s Movie Awards. These were also added because Forever Beyonce wasn’t around at that time. In Touch Weekly reports Destiny’s Child star Beyonce Knowles only wants to be known as Beyonce, and she’s planning a legal name change to make it official. The singer wanted to wait until she was a big enough star to join the single-named stars such as Madonna and Cher.
